In 1969, two legends of Italian automotive history joined forces to craft something truly extraordinary: the Fiat Dino 2400. Revealed at the Turin Motor Show, this car wasn’t just an upgrade; it was a revolution. With its powerful 2.4-litre V6 engine, independent rear suspension, and a host of enhancements to improve safety, comfort, and drivability, the Dino 2400 redefined what a stylish, high-performance car could be. At its heart lies a 180 hp engine—the very same masterpiece that powered Ferrari’s iconic Dino 246 GT. This was no coincidence; the Fiat Dino 2400 embodies a collaboration between Fiat and Ferrari, with a shared vision to create something exceptional. As a result, by late 1969, these cars were assembled on Ferrari’s production line in Maranello, side by side with the legendary 246 GT. And then there’s its rarity: with only 420 examples of the 2400 Spider ever produced, this car is a true collector’s dream.
